We decided that we did not want to lease the property to a local farmer anymore as we had a number of problems with allowing access, increased insurance and wear and tear on the driveway with oversize and heavy equipment so we went into the CREP program.
We love this country.... They pay us NOT to farm !!!
So, we planted over 1,600 trees and shrubs on 8.5 acres and had another 8.5 acres planted with different types of wildflowers and native grass.
