Using the same 400w mercury vapor light as we used in 2007
Had a few Mantis Fly's but were not able to photograph them.
Set up around 20:30... It was apparent that the cats would be a issue as they like to eat the moths !
Wanted to see what it looked like from across the valley. 17 second exposure.

Best find of the night. Have never seen one of these before. Perhaps a Caterpillar Hunter, Calosoma scrutator ???
