Bug Lighting 30-JUL-2011

The Bugman (Ryan Bridge) hosted MOTHER NATURE'S NIGHT LIFE at Brunner Island. The wetlands area is located west of PPL Brunner Island which is a three-unit, coal-fired 1,490 megawatt thermal plant on the west bank of the Susquehanna River in East Manchester Township, York County, Pa., about 15 miles downstream from Harrisburg, Pa.

Ryan set up three generator powered stations, one on a deck next to a wetland area (pond), one near a pond and one on higher ground in a field.

Considering the lights from three large power plants located nearby some interesting insects showed up.
