Bug Lighting 12-AUG-2011


Well, again, August ended up being a bust. To late in the year, too cool and we made the mistake of doing it when we had a full moon.

Still as always it was a fun night !

Small-Eyed Sphinx

The first Actias luna, commonly known as the Luna Moth that we have attracted to the lights.

Red-Banded Hairstreak's (Lycaenidae) These are butterflies and are not normally out at night.

Cutworm Moth (Noctuiidae)
