West Trip Spring 2001

We started in Las Vegas and drove down to the Mexico / Arizona border then to the eastern part of Arizona then up to Page Arizona then back to Las Vegas. We took 10 days and covered appx. 2,300 miles.

Updated this trip in 2016. I had it spread across 18 individal pages as the page loading speed back in 2001 was much slower than today. It was an interestring trip and now that we are considering southern Arizona for retirement I want to reference many of these pages as we do our research. Also, in May 2016 we spent 10 days visiting some of these locations.

First Few Days, Oregon Pipe National Monument, Bates Well Sunset and Night Vision, Ajo, Arizona to Kitt's Peak, Along the border from Nogales to Dogulas Cave Creek Canyon, Southwest Research Station, Barfoot Lookout, Chiricahua National Monument, Cascabel Road / Apache Trail / Phoenix Area, Crown King to Prescott.
